Jim Heing & Associates, Inc. is an adjusting firm located in Princeton, IL. In the U.S. market we offer adjusting, auditing, oversight and consulting services.
In the international market we provide planning and advisory services to reinsurers and insurers, in anticipation of and following the largest of events, as well as loss adjusting, oversight, audit and loss management services.
Our adjusting and advisory services are provided to our clients on a confidential basis. We do not share references nor client data, as we want you to have the most complete trust in the confidentiality of our service.
Because the nature of disaster claims management requires the development of an on-going relationship with the carrier, we limit our services to those carriers with whom we have established a planning relationship. Though we can be available to handle after-the-fact emergency claim, reserving, or settlement situations, we always encourage pre-loss communication and planning.

Information for Homeowners
Our claims process is simple and straightforward. If you have any questions, you can always contact Jim Heing at 815-303-8259 or Mike O'Meara at 815-830-1599. We will be happy to answer any questions we can, or to refer you to the correct claims office representative to handle those questions beyond our authority.
We will be happy to meet with you and your contractor in order to reach an agreed scope of damage. When we call to set up the appointment to inspect the damages, at your request we will send an email confirming the appointment date and time.
Following the inspection, we will submit to your insurance claims office a complete and itemized estimate, along with our recommendations for the repair/replacement of all covered items of damage.
Because we are an independent firm, we cannot guarantee payment nor authorize repairs. Only the claims office can guarantee payment. In order to help move your claim along, we submit our report within 24 hours of our inspection.
